You will probably get sick of hearing about this from me but nothing beats fall! Summer is great and fun but down here in Houston summer ends up feeling like a sweaty torture chamber that I try to avoid at all costs! Even my skin hates the summer #paleashell I just like to sit inside and count the days until sweater weather has taken over Houston and then I make it my business to soak up every ounce of sweet fall and even winter (because let’s face it, Houston doesn’t really have a true winter) that I can! We have already brought out the showstopper pumpkin muffins and now it is time for some nice little Holiday cheer …. The Vanilla Chai Fireball…. What in the what?! YEP! This is the type of recipe that gets created when I hang out with my friend Sandra… girlfriend KNOWS her way around a bar like it is her j-o-b! She is also the mastermind behind Sandra Tiffany that will be launching very soon so stay tuned for that announcement! Now on to that little (big) kick of holiday cheer…
- 8 oz of vanilla chai tea, brewed*
- 1 oz of fireball whiskey
- 1 oz of butterscotch liqueur
- Brew the vanilla chai tea just like you normally would and while it is cooling down add in the fireball and butterscotch. Enjoy, share with a friend and drink responsibility!
- **We used David's Tea- vanilla chai but any chai tea brand will work!
Sandra is from Canada and she has the most beautiful collection of tea you have ever seen…. even organized and color coordinated (how amazing is that)?! So when she asked me to come over and play I couldn’t resist!! I will admit tea is something that I am just now falling in love with and that is mostly thanks to Sandra’s amazing collection! For this recipe ANY chai tea will do BUT we used David’s Tea from Canada and I have to tell you, I never knew tea could smell so good and look so beautiful! If you are a big tea drinker I would highly recommend trying out this brand or even gifting it for the holidays!
This would be great for curling up by a fireplace with the one you love, gossiping on girl’s night or serving at your next Holiday party! Give it a go and let me know what you think!
