Healthy Meatloaf!!

I can’t stress enough how important it is to include a lean protein source at every meal. Sometimes it’s hard to think of different protein sources to include in your meals, but that’s what this blog is here for! This meatloaf recipe is so tasty, full of flavor and of course very healthy. Make this for dinner tonight!

  1. 1 lb organic lean ground beef
  2. 1 tsp Basil
  3. 1 tsp Garlic
  4. 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  5. 1 tsp parsley
  6. Dash Salt
  7. Dash Pepper
  8. 1 egg, lightly beaten
  9. 1/2 Red pepper, diced
  10. 1/2 yellow onion diced fine
  11. 1/2 cup Panko (breadcrumbs)
  12. 3 tbsp of Our Homemade ketchup or unsweetened ketchup
  1. Preheat oven 400 degrees
  2. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl, except the ketchup
  3. Mix well, combing all ingredients
  4. Place mixture in a either a meat loaf pan or even a muffin pan
  5. Bake for 35 minutes
  6. Add a thin layer (or more!) of ketchup to meat loaf
  7. Place back in oven and bake for 5 more minutes

IMG_1471 The Ingredients ready to go!! IMG_1486 Mix everything together and use your hands to combine ingredients! IMG_1495 IMG_1503 Once everything is well combine, add meat mixture into muffin tins or you can make personalized muffin sized meat loafs! IMG_1508 Place in the oven on 400 degrees and bake for 35 minutesIMG_1550 Once time is up remove the meatloaf a from the oven and add a thin layer of ketchup. Then put the meatloaf back in the oven for an extra 5-10 minutesIMG_1564 Serve hot and enjoy!!
