Crockpot Pulled Pork!

This one pot dish makes clean up a breeze and doesn’t require a lot of attention or even a lot of work. All you need to do is throw the ingredients in a slow cooker and 7-8 hours later, you’ll have the best pulled pork in the world…not to mention, your house will smell incredible. This recipe makes a lot so you won’t have to worry about cooking a protein for a long time!


  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar or cider
  • 1/2 onion sliced into circles
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard


  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add all the seasonings and mix well 
  2. Add in the vinegar and honey. Mix well
  3. Place onions in the bottom of crock pot
  4. Trim fat off pork
  5. Add the pork and then pour the sauce over all the pork
  6. Add other half of onions on top of the pork  Miss Bear just could not wait for the pork to be done and ready to eat!
  7. Turn crock pot on and cook for 7-8 hours or until the meat is tender enough to shred with a fork    

16 servings per recipe: Nutrition for 3 oz serving: 297 calories, 20.7 grams fat, 6.11 grams carbohydrates, 20.14 grams protein
